Jon Favreau

Actor; Writer; Director; Producer

Jon Favreau is an actor, writer, producer and director of both independent and blockbuster films. Jon most recently directed and produced Disney's live action box office smash "The Jungle Book" and recently partnered with WeVR to create virtual reality experience "Gnomes & Goblins." He first established himself as a writer with the acclaimed comedy "Swingers," which he also starred in and co-produced. As an integral part of the formation and expansion of the Marvel Universe, Jon directed "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2," and served as an executive producer on "Iron Man 3," "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." His other directing credits include the 2014 indie hit "Chef," which he also wrote, produced and starred in; the holiday comedy classic "Elf"; sci-fi action thriller "Cowboys & Aliens"; and "Zathura: A Space Adventure." As an actor, Jon has appeared in "Wolf of Wall Street," "Couples Retreat," "I Love You Man," "The Break-Up," "Something's Gotta Give," "Daredevil," "The Replacements," "Rocky Marciano," "Very Bad Things," "Deep Impact" and all three "Iron Man" films.
