Kelly Williams

Senior Advisor, GCM Grosvenor


Kelly Williams is a senior advisor to GCM Grosvenor with a focus on diversity and corporate social responsibility. Previously, she was president of GCM Grosvenor Private Markets. Earlier, Williams was a managing director and group head of the Customized Fund Investment Group of Credit Suisse Group AG and a director of the Customized Fund Investment Group at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. She has also worked at Prudential Insurance Co. of America and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Williams is a member of the New York Bar and serves on boards of numerous groups. Honors include the 2013 Trailblazer Award from the Association of Asian American Investment Managers, the 2012 Women of Power and Influence Award from the National Organization for Women and the 2010 Leading by Example award from the Robert Toigo Foundation. American Banker Magazine named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Finance in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. She holds a B.A. in political science and mathematics from Union College and a J.D. from New York University.
