Nora Super is chief, programs and services, at the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a), which she joined in February. Previously, she was executive director of the 2015 White House Conference on Aging, and she served in a leadership role in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. Before that, Super was director of federal government relations, health and long-term care at AARP, and represented Kaiser Permanente's eight regional Permanente medical groups as the Permanente Federation's director of public policy and government relations. She has worked in academia and the private sector, including for George Washington University Medical School, the National Health Policy Forum and the Employee Benefit Research Institute. She also has worked in local and state government and on the congressional staff. Super studied political science at Tulane University and completed her master's work in public administration at George Washington University.
