Susan Li

Reporter and Anchor, CNBC

Susan Li is a reporter and anchor with CNBC, based in New York. Li previously was an anchor for CNBC International in London and earlier in Hong Kong. She served as host of "First Class," CNBC International's luxury travel show. Li has interviewed global business and political figures such as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, LVMH's Bernard Arnault and BlackRock's Larry Fink. She has also covered events such as the 2012 U.S. election, Hurricane Sandy and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Earlier, Li was with Bloomberg Television, serving as the network's main anchor in Asia as host of "First Up with Susan Li." The show won Best News Program at the 17th Asian Television Awards, at which Li was also named best anchor. Li began her career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and later joined China Central Television's CCTV International in Beijing. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto.
