President and CEO, PGIM, the Global Investment Management Businesses of Prudential Financial, Inc.
David Hunt is president and CEO of PGIM, the asset management business of Prudential Financial Inc., with more than $963 billion in assets. He oversees all aspects of the business, including its public fixed-income, real estate, public equity, private fixed-income and mutual fund units. Hunt also serves on the operating committee for Prudential's U.S. businesses. Previously, he was a senior partner at McKinsey & Co. and co-leader of its North American asset management practice. At McKinsey, Hunt served as a key advisor to leading financial executives worldwide. He is on the executive committee of the board for the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also on the board of the Toigo Foundation, which is devoted to diversity in the investment management business. Hunt has a bachelor's in engineering from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
