Mitchell Julis is co-founder, co-chairman and co-CEO of Canyon Partners, LLC, a leading global alternative asset management firm. Founded in 1990, Canyon Partners specializes in value-oriented and event-driven investments. Julis serves on the board of trustees at Princeton University and the Advisory Council for the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is a member of the governing board for the Institute for New Economic Thinking, the Asia Society Board of Trustees and the Technion-Cornell Innovation Institute Advisory Council. In 2014, Julis received Institutional Investor's Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton, Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. In 2011, Julis received an honorary doctorate from Yeshiva University of New York.
