Martha Amram

Senior Fellow, Milken Institute; Founder and CEO, WattzOn


Martha Amram is a senior fellow at the Milken Institute and the founder and CEO of WattzOn, which offers consumers online tools for personal energy management. Amram is a consultant, speaker and author, with expertise in the valuation of and strategy for high-risk growth projects. As a consultant, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies and startups on the value of research and development projects, managing the R&D pipeline and valuation of joint ventures. The co-author of "Real Options" and "Value Sweep," she is a frequent speaker on valuation and growth strategy. Recent startup experience includes serving as interim CEO of Vocomo Software and chief economist of PLX Systems. Amram co-founded consulting firm Glaze Creek Partners, was a vice president at Analysis Group Inc. and an assistant professor at Boston University. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in applied economics.
