Jennifer Brusstar
Co-Founder, President and CEO, Tug McGraw Foundation

Jennifer Brusstar is the co-founder, president and CEO of the Tug McGraw Foundation (TMF), which she launched with Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Tug McGraw before his death in 2004. The foundation raises funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors. In 2009, she expanded the foundation's programs to include post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. This collaboration encourages the best minds in medicine to accelerate new treatments to lessen the debilitating physical, social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual effects of those conditions. Brusstar and her team have raised more than $4 million for programs. She is a board member of the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and a special advisor to Soldiers to the Summit. In 2001, her youngest son was diagnosed with autism, and today she volunteers her time to help families who have children with special needs. Brusstar began her career as a flight attendant for American Airlines and has worked as a translator for several corporations.
