Michael Crowley
Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent, Time

Michael Crowley is chief foreign affairs correspondent for Time. He has written on a wide range of foreign policy and national security issues, from the crisis in Ukraine to the Iran nuclear negotiations to Barack Obama's counterterrorism policies. During the Obama administration, he has visited China, Egypt, Israel, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Mexico and Ukraine. Crowley has also written extensively about national politics, including the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. Previously, he was a senior editor at the New Republic, writing about politics and foreign policy. He has also been a reporter at The Boston Globe, and his writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, New York, The Atlantic, GQ, Slate and Rolling Stone.
