Joseph Naylor is vice president of strategic planning for Chevron Corporation, a position he has held since August 2013. He is responsible for advising senior corporate executives in setting strategic direction, allocating capital and other resources, and determining operating unit performance measures and targets. Previously, Naylor was general manager of upstream strategy and planning. Naylor has developed his leadership acumen in positions including general manager of business development projects; CEO and chief operating officer of Sasol Chevron in London; vice president of strategy, planning and business support at Chevron Global Gas; general manager of supply chain optimization, Europe and West Africa marketing and refining in London; manager of liquefied natural gas marketing, North West Shelf LNG Project; and positions in logistics and trading. Naylor joined Chevron as a process engineer, working on refinery and gas plant projects. He has a B.S. in chemical engineering from University of Michigan.
