Patricia McWade
Dean of Student Financial Services, Georgetown University

Patricia McWade is dean of student financial services and associate vice president for student loan services at Georgetown University. Previously, she served as associate dean for admissions and financial aid at Harvard University, where she similarly helped students and their parents navigate the difficult process of applying for and receiving financial aid. A founder of the Georgetown Scholarship Program, McWade was honored by the board of advisors of the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program for her exceptional service. She received the Matteo Ricci Prize from the Georgetown Carroll Fellows Initiative for promoting academic excellence. She is a trustee of the College Board and a member of the board's college planning committee, and has served on numerous national and regional financial aid associations' committees. McWade, who authored the book, "Financing Graduate Education," received her bachelor's degree in English literature from Northeastern University and her master's of education from Harvard University.
