Chairman, Falcon Waterfree Technologies
Marc Nathanson is chairman of Falcon Waterfree Technologies. He is also chairman of Mapleton Investments and Mapleton/RDS Real Estate Group and a former long-time communications executive. A member of the Cable TV Hall of Fame, he has owned and operated cable TV, satellite systems, radio stations, microwave and Internet services throughout the world. In 1994, he was named Inc. magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year. From 1995 to 2002, he was chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, responsible for the Voice of America, Radio Free Asia, Radio-TV Marti and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Nathanson is currently vice chairman of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is on the board of the USC Annenberg School for Communication, The Aspen Institute, and the Pacific Council on International Policy. Nathanson is a recipient of Global Green's Millennium Award and the Environmental Media Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for his environmental work.
