Founder and President, Hope Education
George Hoskins is the founder and president of Hope Education. Prior to founding Hope Education, he served as senior vice president of a major children's development organization for more than 18 years. He has developed and overseen projects in more than 60 nations. Hoskins serves on several boards and is co-chair of the U.S.-India Business Council's K-12 education initiative as well as a member of the executive leadership team and board of directors of Ryan International Group of Institutions. Hoskins is a strong advocate of lifelong learning and is pursuing his doctorate in international mediation at Harvard Law School. He has been involved with production and distribution of several films. The latest, "En Tus Manos," set in the vicious slums of Colombia, tells the story of a conflicted youth who seeks membership in a brutal gang with the hope of one day having the power to determine his own destiny. "En Tus Manos" is the winner of 17 major film festivals and was a nominee for the Oscar in the short film category.
