William Bennett
Former U.S. Secretary of Education; Author, "The Book of Man: Readings on the Path to Manhood"

William Bennett is one of America's most familiar voices on cultural, political and education issues. He was secretary of education in the Reagan administration as well as the nation's first drug czar under the first President Bush. An award-winning professor, he taught at Boston University, the University of Texas and Harvard University. Bennett is the author of 24 books, the most recent being the New York Times best-seller "The Book of Man: Readings on the Path to Manhood." Bennett is a frequent guest on CNN and the host of "Morning In America," the seventh largest nationally syndicated radio show. He is also a co-founder of K12 Inc., an online education company. Bennett holds a bachelor's degree from Williams College, a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Texas and a law degree from Harvard University. He is the recipient of more than 30 honorary degrees.
