Bethlam Forsa is executive vice president of global product and content development for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in the K-12 Division. She previously served as senior vice president of Publishing and Operations of the School Division. Prior to joining Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Forsa was a partner at Accenture, where she advised publishing and media clients on strategy and transformational initiatives. She also shaped the firm's point of view around key issues facing the publishing industry, such as changes in consumer behavior, the impact of technology, emerging business models and the need to effectively leverage offshore capabilities. During her 12 years with Accenture, Forsa worked with major publishers in North America and Europe, leading broad-based transformational programs that have dramatically improved sales, financial performance and market capitalization. Her functional areas of expertise include digital strategy and transformation, editorial and production optimization, and supply-chain effectiveness.
