Vice President of Apps and Experiences, Motorola
Sue Forbes is Vice President of Software Applications & Experiences Product Management at Motorola. Prior to that, she was vice president of cloud services, responsible for Motorola's first software and service offering of MOTOBLUR. Forbes moved over to Mobile Devices from the Enterprise Mobility Business, where she was general manager for Motorola's Good Technology Group. Prior to Motorola's acquisition of Good, she was Vice President & General Manager for its IBM business unit and was instrumental in driving the adoption of Lotus Notes on mobile phones. She was previously vice president of marketing and business development for Narus, a software company that provides real-time traffic intelligence for large IP networks. Her prior experience includes stints with 3COM and with McKinsey & Company. Forbes also served in the British Royal Air Force as an engineer officer; she was the only woman to ever receive the Queens Medal. She has traveled to more than 80 countries and just returned from an excursion to Antarctica. Forbes earned her M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Warwick University.
