Stephen Dover is Managing Director and International Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Global Advisers at Franklin Templeton Companies LLC. He oversees Franklin's Asian equity growth products and manages investment groups in Asia, France, Italy, South Africa and Brazil. Previously Dover was a founder and chief investment officer of Bradesco Templeton Asset Management, the largest joint-venture asset management company in Brazil. Before joining Franklin in 1997, Dover was a portfolio manager and Principal at Newell Associates in Palo Alto, Calif., and worked for Towers Perrin Consulting in New York, London and San Francisco. He is a board member of the Bootstrap Fund, a nonprofit development bank focusing on micro credit. He is also on the board of Lewis and Clark College and Law School. A chartered financial analyst and certified financial planner, he received a B.A. from Lewis and Clark and an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
