Head of Investment Services Group, J.P. Morgan
Hal Bjornson is Head of the Investment Services Group at J.P. Morgan, which he joined in 2008. He also helps determine strategy within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management organization from a defined-contribution perspective. Bjornson has more than 25 years of investment management industry experience; he joined J.P. Morgan from Sun Life Retirement Services (formerly a division of MFS), where he served as director of Investment Management Services. At Sun Life/MFS, he implemented and developed a team of advisors who met with clients to advise and report on the various investment vehicles within their retirement plans. Before joining MFS in 1998, Bjornson held positions with Back Bay Advisors, Copley Products Group (New England Securities) and Fidelity. He holds a bachelor′s degree in English from the University of Massachusetts and a master′s degree in business administration from Boston University′s School of Management.
