Carole Brookins

Managing Director, Public Capital Advisors


Carole Brookins is a Managing Director of Public Capital Advisors LLC, a firm that helps national and sub-sovereign governments and regional authorities access a wide range of capital resources. She is a director on corporate and nonprofit boards, including Climate Exchange Plc and the Chicago Climate Exchange, and is chairman of the North American Advisory Board of NTR Plc, an international developer and operator of renewable energy. Brookins serves on the North America Agribusiness Advisory Board of Rabobank and the board of trustees of GVEP (Global Village Energy Partnership). She consults on commodity markets, agriculture, international trade, global development and public policy. From 2001 to 2005, Brookins served as the U.S executive director to The World Bank in Washington, D.C. Her commodities background began at the Chicago Board of Trade and as a vice president of E. F. Hutton in New York. She was also founder and CEO of the consulting firm World Perspectives Inc.
