Managing Director, Urban Investment Group, Goldman Sachs
Alicia Glen is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where she heads the Urban Investment Group (UIG), which focuses on providing capital to underserved urban markets and coordinating Community Reinvestment Act investing and lending. She serves on the UIG Investment, Diverse Business Engagement and Bank Management committees, and co-heads the firm's 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative. UIG has invested in residential, mixed-use and commercial projects in Harlem, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Jersey City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and elsewhere, catalyzing more than $2 billion of development. Glen also serves on the boards of Enterprise Community Partners, the Corporation for Supportive Housing, the Bowery Residents Committee and the Citizens Housing and Planning Council. She was assistant commissioner for housing finance at the New York City Department of Housing, Preservation and Development from 1998 to 2002. She previously was an attorney at Brooklyn Legal Services. Glen is a graduate of Amherst College and Columbia University Law School.
