Executive Vice President, Education, Research and Outreach, Sesame Workshop
Lewis Bernstein is Executive Vice President of Education, Research and Outreach for the Sesame Street Workshop, establishing the educational agenda for all Sesame Workshop productions and creative projects. Previously Bernstein served as executive producer of the nonprofit organization′s educational television series, "Sesame Street." His work won him and the Workshop three Emmy awards. Bernstein has also served as vice president of global production, executive producer for "Sesame English" (a television program that teaches conversational English in foreign countries), and executive producer of the Israeli/Palestinian version of "Sesame Street." Bernstein has a doctorate from Columbia University in communications research, a master′s degree from Hebrew University in communications, and a bachelor′s degree from Queens College in psychology.
