Chairman, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls
Jerry Reinsdorf is Chairman of the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. He assumed ownership of the White Sox in 1981 and the Bulls in 1985. His teams have delivered seven world championship titles to Chicago and their fans. Both franchises have donated millions of dollars to causes in the Chicago community through a variety of efforts, including CharitaBulls and White Sox Charities. Reinsdorf serves on the Executive Council of Major League Baseball and is a trustee of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. An attorney, a certified public accountant and a specialist in real estate securities, Reinsdorf is also a partner in Bojer Financial Ltd., a real estate investment company. He has served on numerous corporate boards and is a life trustee of Northwestern University, where he received his J.D. Reinsdorf also has a bachelor's degree from The George Washington University.
