Felicia Thornton is CEO of Knowledge Universe Education (KUE) U.S. She oversees the strategic vision and operations for several of KUE's business lines, including KinderCare Learning Centers, the nation's leading private provider of early childhood education and care through 1,778 community-based centers; CCLC, a national child-care provider for progressive employers; KLC School Partnerships, which provides on-site before- and after-school programs, summer camps and science programs; KCDL, which offers distance learning programs for middle school and high school students, including courses through Keystone National High School and Middle School, iQ Academy and Aventa Learning; and KU Technologies, a global provider of technology solutions and services to business partners in the child-care and education industry. Before joining KUE, Thornton held executive positions with Albertsons Inc. and Kroger. She received a bachelor's degree in economics from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
