Vice President; Managing Director, Software and Services; Intel Capital
Lisa Lambert is Vice President of Intel Capital and Managing Director of the Software and Services Sector. A voting member of the investment committee, she joined Intel Capital in 1999. Prior to that, she held a product marketing management position with Intel's Desktop Products Group with responsibility for the Pentium II and III processor family. Before Intel, Lambert worked as a software developer and in strategic planning, product marketing and sales at Owens-Corning. She is on the board of directors (observer) for Acadia Enterprises LLC, Endeca, CollabNet, Iovation, SpikeSource and REvolution Computing. She has invested in and managed exits from MySQL (acquired by Sun Microsystems), VMware (IPO), Jajah (acquired by Telefonica), JBoss (acquired by Red Hat), Kingsoft (IPO), Financial Engines (IPO), DATAllegro (acquired by Microsoft), Demantra (acquired by Oracle), and Connected Corp. (acquired by Iron Mountain). Lambert has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in information systems management from Pennsylvania State University.
