Director, Center for Emerging Domestic Markets, and Research Fellow, Milken Institute
Betsy Zeidman is a Research Fellow and Director of the Center for Emerging Domestic Markets at the Milken Institute. Her research focuses on expanding capital access to emerging domestic markets, including women- and ethnic-owned businesses, inner cities and low-income areas. She also manages the Institute's work in mission-related investing, developmental finance and strategic philanthropy. Prior to joining the Institute, Zeidman provided management and marketing advisory services to clients in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, with a specialty in corporate responsibility and financial performance. Zeidman is a member of the board of directors of the Social Investment Forum and CARAT (California Resources and Training), and sits on the advisory board of Wall Street Without Walls. She received both her B.A. and M.B.A. from Yale University.
