Courtney Lyman is a director of business and program development at the Milken Institute. She creates and supports strategies for engagement across a network of supporters including financial institutions, corporations, foundations and individual philanthropists.
Since joining the Institute in 2012, she has provided project management oversight across the Institute’s largest events, including the Global Conference and the London Summit, leading to greater supporter engagement and broadening the Institute’s network of leading executives, investors, government officials and philanthropists.
Previously, Lyman worked at Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. At Chrysalis, she helped develop marketing and fundraising campaigns for individual and corporate donors.
Lyman graduated with a bachelor of arts in political science and international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She works at the Institute's Santa Monica office.
