Heather Fields is an associate director of communications at the Institute. Joining the Institute in 2014, Fields provided support and program management for the Center for Financial Markets (CFM), based in Washington. Soon thereafter she moved to the Institute’s communications team to continue her work in coordinating and developing strategies of engagement and communications for CFM. She also produces and manages web content and provides project management oversight across a variety of publications for the Institute. Additionally, she coordinates for the Institute's East Coast events.
Before joining the Institute, Fields worked on the events and guest services management team for Indiana University, managing over 300 events annually. For the last two years, she has contributed written content for several websites ranging from wedding retail to university and career resources. Fields started her career as the coordinator for an international program providing English as a New Language support and guidance for a K-12 school in Indianapolis.
Fields holds a B.S. in secondary education, with concentrations in economics, geography and history from Taylor University.
Originally from Indianapolis, Fields now calls the East Coast home. She works at the Institute’s Washington office.
