Heather Fields is the associate director of content marketing and communications at the Institute. Joining the Institute in September 2014, Fields provided support and program management for the Center for Financial Markets (CFM), based in Washington. Soon thereafter she moved to the Institute’s marketing and communications team to continue her work in coordinating and developing strategies of engagement and communications for all centers at the Institute. She now leads the publications and content marketing team, providing project management oversight across all publications and collateral. Additionally, she plays a role in a variety of special projects related to brand development and organizational management.
Before joining the Institute, Fields worked on the events and guest services management team for Indiana University, managing over 300 events annually. For the last two years, she has contributed written content for several websites ranging from wedding retail to university and career resources. Fields started her career as the coordinator for a K-12 international program in the Indianapolis area. In this role, she focused on building out the young program through recruitment, retention, and curriculum expansion.
Fields holds a B.S. in secondary education, with concentrations in economics, geography and history from Taylor University and a M.S. in public service management from DePaul University.
