Nassia Shams is manager, operations & administration at the Milken Institute’s Asia Center. Headquartered in Singapore, the Asia Center extends Milken Institute activities and programs to the Asia-Pacific region. Shams manages office administration, financial and human resources management activities, material distribution and IT systems for the Asia Center.
Prior to joining the Institute, she worked as transactions manager for human resources solutions at Deutsche Bank AG in Singapore. In that position, she managed the full spectrum of employee life cycle activities for Deutsche Bank’s Singapore staff and led various projects for the Asia-Pacific region, such as transition of human resource operational tasks to an offshore service center, process improvement of employee life cycle tools and vendor management. Shams brings 10 years of experience in human resources, administration and operations in the financial services industry in Singapore and India.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and graduate degree in human resources management from SIM University, Singapore. She is a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Singapore.
