Paul H. Irving


Paul Irving is president and a member of the board of the Milken Institute. In addition to executive leadership, Irving heads global programs on public health, successful aging, and capital access and opportunity. Irving is a member of the boards of directors of East West Bancorp, Encore.org and Operation Hope, the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services Dean's Council, the USC Davis School of Gerontology Board of Counselors, and the Partners for Livable Communities National Advisory Board on Aging. His book, "The Upside of Aging - How Long Life is Changing the World of Health, Work, Innovation, Policy, and Purpose," is scheduled for release by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. in April 2014. Previously, he was an advanced leadership fellow at Harvard University and chairman, CEO, managing partner and head of the financial services group of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, a prominent law and consulting firm. Irving attended New York University, Harvard University and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he served as an adjunct professor and received the Board of Governors Award for outstanding contributions to society and the law.
