Alexandra Rosen leads GoDaddy Venture Forward, a research initiative launched in 2018 that quantifies the outsized impact 20+ million online microbusinesses make on their local economies and provides a unique view into the attitudes, demographics and needs of these entrepreneurs. As senior director, she partners with economists, policymakers, think tanks, and foundations to inform policies, programs and academic papers in support of small businesses. Her work has been featured in media including the New York Times and HBR. She has also served on the business councils for U.S. Conference of Mayors and African American Mayors Association. Alexandra believes firmly in the power of technology to make opportunity more inclusive and accessible for all. Prior to joining GoDaddy, she led marketing initiatives at Cisco through partnerships with the Rio 2016 Olympics, Live Nation, and Global Citizen, focused on connecting people to opportunities through technical skills-training and fostering innovation in the live entertainment industry for better fan, artist and merchant experiences. She began her career at Google, helping businesses of all sizes grow with AdWords. Alexandra was an entrepreneur-in-residence at the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator. She served on the board of directors for the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) and the Jewish Graduate Organization (JGO).
