Mukund co-founded Lighthouse Funds, widely recognized as India’s leading growth investor in the consumer and healthcare sectors. Since 2007, Lighthouse has backed 30 of India’s iconic brands, including household names in the food, personal care, home improvement and wellness spaces. Representative investments include Bikaji Foods, Nykaa.com, Duroflex Mattresses, Cera Sanitaryware, FabIndia, Kama Ayurveda and Tynor Orthotics. Lighthouse is currently investing from its fourth institutional fund. Mukund previously co-founded The Linneman Letter, a leading global macro research publication, which is read by CIOs and allocators managing nearly $1 trillion in assets. Mukund began his career with McKinsey & Company, and embarked on his investment career at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking Partners, 25+ years ago. Mukund holds undergraduate degrees in economics and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Wharton Business School. He is married to his wife of 22 years and has two teenage sons. He is a member of YPO and is active in education and mental health focused causes.
