Faisal J. Abbas is a journalist, author, geopolitical analyst of Saudi and Arab affairs. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Middle East leading English-language daily, Arab News and an editorial board member of Al Arabiya News channel.A journalist for over 20 years, he has written for Newsweek, Foreign Policy, The Huffington Post and both Asharq Al Awsat and Al Hayat leading pan-Arab daily newspapers. Abbas was awarded UK’s Next Century Foundation’s Cutting-Edge Award for his efforts in bridging the communication gap between the West and the Arab World, and British Council’s UK alumni “Social Impact” award in Saudi Arabia.
