Benedetta Ghione is Executive Director at Art Dubai and is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the fair. With more than 15 years’ experience in art business, Ghione holds a BA and MA in history of art and contemporary art theory, respectively. Prior to joining Art Dubai, she worked as director at Luxembourg & Dayan gallery (now Luxembourg + Co) and was head of department, contemporary art, at Bonhams auction house. Ghione joined Art Dubai in 2015 and, among her other responsibilities, focuses on institutional and public engagement, nurturing artistic practice and Art Dubai’s professional development and education initiatives.
